Sara Jennings (she/her) is a Certified Kundalini Instructor based in Philadelphia. With a specific training focus on kriya yoga, breathwork, and mantra meditation, Sara leads regular classes in person and online. She began practicing yoga at the start of the pandemic and spent a year in San Diego, where she was exposed to the Kundalini style of yoga with her teacher, Har Dev Singh Khalsa, in Encinitas, CA. Sara completed her 200-hour teacher training in the spring of 2022. She enjoys practicing many types of yoga, including Vinyasa, Yin, and Yoga Nidra. Sara is also a political organizer and mother. She lives in Queen Village.
Sara’s classes are for all levels, from beginner to experienced yogis. Her offerings incorporate movement, breath, mantra, and meditation to still the mind, allowing the spirit to experience states of stillness, wisdom, and bliss.
Favorite part about teaching Kundalini Yoga:
One of the things I love about this practice is its immediate effect on calming and balancing the nervous system. With even just a few minutes of intentional breathing, there follows the observable experience of shifting into a beautiful state of relaxed awareness. This is where self-love and healing can be found.
