Philadelphia’s past is not for the faint of heart. Learn the city’s darker history with the all-new Bloodletting & Burials Tour, launching Saturday, October 4.
Every Saturday night in October and on November 1, guides will lead you through Old City, telling spine-chilling stories of medicine, mortality, and survival in colonial Philadelphia. Along the way, prepare to encounter some frightening faces from the city’s past, sharing terrifying tales.
6pm Tour: Begin at Betsy Ross’s final resting place, wind your way through Christ Church Burial Ground and Arch Street Meetinghouse, then end with a shadowy, self-guided Spooky Tour of the Betsy Ross House.
7pm Tour: Start with the Spooky Tour inside the Betsy Ross House before venturing out into the city’s graveyards and meetinghouses, where history’s darker side comes to life.
Triple Bottom Brewing will host a pop-up beer garden in the courtyard each Saturday!
Note: This tour is not recommended for small children.
