We encourage you to look beyond the leaders who everyone knows and share a story about someone who made a difference through their actions, words, or values.

- Why do YOU admire this Hero or Heroine?
- How can your story make everyone want to know more about them?
How To Submit Your Story
- Write a story about your hero or heroine (50-200 words, or no more than one handwritten or typed page)
- Include sources used for your research
- Submit your story to info@historicphiladelphia.org
- For History Maker submissions, please include a story about the historical figure you will portray and a photo of yourself in your costume
