Go beyond the daytime tour and experience Independence Hall like few ever will. Independence After Hours offers exclusive evening access to one of the most important sites in American history, bringing the summer of 1776 to life.
Your evening begins at the Independence Visitor Center, then a Colonial host “sneaks” you into the Pennsylvania State House, setting the stage for a behind-the-scenes look at the moments leading to independence.
Inside Independence Hall, you’ll encounter the Founding Fathers through scenes that reveal the urgency, disagreement, and uncertainty of 1776. Watch as ideas are debated, alliances are tested, and the path forward is far from certain.
Without large crowds, the birth of the nation unfolds around you, where the monumental conversations actually took place.
The evening concludes with toasts to the founding of the country with History Makers at a nearby watering hole with a choice of cocktail or mocktail.
