Flag Fest returns to the Betsy Ross House from June 5–14, 2026 with an expanded celebration of National Flag Week, Flag Day, and the Semiquincentennial of both the nation and the American flag. Across 10 days, visitors can enjoy free daily programming, living history, crafts, music, and cultural experiences at one of Philadelphia’s most iconic historic sites. From a First Friday exhibit opening and a citywide Firstival to colonial chocolate-making, choral performances, and a full day of Flag Day festivities, Flag Fest offers something new to discover each day.

First Friday Exhibit Opening Friday, June 5 | 5–8 p.m.

Preview Flag Fest with Stars & Stripes: 250 Years, 250 Drawings by artist Damon Belanger in the new Flagmaker’s Hall at 111 N. 3rd Street.

Firstival Saturday, June 6 | 11 a.m.–1 p.m.

Part of Philadelphia’s 52 Weeks of Firsts, this special Firstival celebrates the Stars & Stripes with Revolutionary-era music, English Country Dance, crafts, games, and more.

Colonial Chocolate + Choral Performance Saturday, June 13

Enjoy colonial chocolate-making and tasting with American Heritage Chocolate, then return for a performance by the Philadelphia Heritage Chorale.

Flag Day Celebration Sunday June 14

Flag Fest culminates with a full day of programming including a flag ceremony, children’s crafts, a new donation unveiling, and Betsy Ross’s Flag History Program.
